Fantastic Piece on White House Solicitor General, Don Verrilli

March 25, 2012

Heard a really great piece on NPR’s All Things Considered, on White House Solicitor General (top lawyer/attorney, basically — set to start arguing new cases in the Supreme Court), by Nina Totenberg.
He’s kinda like me — or I’m like him. Especially a few parts, lines, that included…
Nina asks him what makes him cry (kind of random, right? but not a bad question I guess), and he replies that a lot of things do — that he cries pretty easily. But, knowing when and how to express those emotions is something he’s learned is an extremely important quality.

(I’ll come back to other noteable lines, ideas, parts of the piece, etc.)
